Artist's Comments
So I've got this disease where some my favorite characters in tv shows, anime, videogames, etc. are chosen by how close they resemble the apperance or personality of my girlfriend (much to her disapproval), and Mai from Avatar is one of the closest matches I've found.
I haven't watched a whole lotta Avatar, but it looks like Mai is not one of the more popular characters (please correct me if I'm wrong), and if that's the case then I'm more than glad to do some fanart of her as support (even though she'd probably not appreciate the attention...much like my girlfriend).
